Dual Franchise League Season 13

This is the thirteenth season of the dual franchise league. This League is using the ATG POST WWII CARD SET. Salary cap is 155 million, 5% DROP; Using a DH, no waivers.

Each manager must pick one team from each column below. . For the most part , teams on the left are original franchises and most teams on the right are expansion teams. ( THERE ARE SOME EXCEPTIONS HOWEVER, AND SOME TEAMS ARE COMBINED BECAUSE OF LACK OF PLAYERS.) A manager has exclusive rights to players on his roster; if a player is on more than one roster, he belongs to the team where his salary is highest. We are using a serpentine draft, so each manager picks one team first and then we reverse the order. You can make your first pick from either column. List of teams will be posted below. Official draft order will follow in an additional post.

We are currently looking for at least 2 managers to fill out this league. If anyone is interested in joining please post a message here, first come first served basis.

**********important note**********
There are no teams listed in the search menu for Tampa or Nationals: There are 2 players on Tampa who may be roster worthy: Zorbrist and David Price. In Order to find these players you need to search the FA roster by name.
Secondly there are also 2 players on the Nationals that will be roster worthy: Bryce Harper and Alfonse Soriano. These 2 players are showing on the Montreal roster, however they will be the property of anyone who picks the Nationals in the draft ( the Expos already have an abundance of talent for an expansion franchise). If the Nationals either don't get picked or don't use these 2 players then the Expos will have the rights to these 2 players per league rules

For returning managers there are some minor changes of note;

1) Salary cap for this season has been increased to 155 million.

2] the Orioles have not been used in a number of seasons now, so I have posted them in both columns...so if they are not picked as an original team a manger may choose them as an expansion team.

3) Tampa has been partnered with the Royals once again

4) Randy Johnson now as new higher priced card; !however it is with Mariners, so they now have his rights.

5) we are reverting back to regular rules of the league with respect to players rights, not the special rule we used in season 12 .

Draft order is by record Worst to first - but 4 playoff teams are 9-12. We are waiting on Doug Tucker to confirm if he is coming back - if he is we need 1 - if not we need 2

looks like visick wants in from other thread, if not treyomo too. looks like we're set, draft ordered determined after tonight's games. Or do we have to see who finishes 1-2-3-4 in playoffs? either way we could probably start draft with us bottom feeders and newbies....
