Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

This will be the 35th season of the dual franchise league. Salary cap is 140 million, 5% DROP; we WILL be using a designated hitter, no waivers. You MUST have a players card on one of your franchises in order to use him on your roster, unless you acquire a player via trade. In order to use the new cards which were released last week we will use the ATG 1901+ set. Any player with a card from 1946 or later is eligible. Divisions will be created randomly. You must use a ballpark from 1946 to present.

This season we WILL NOT be using the original / expansion concept as we have in the past. Each manager will pick 2 teams from The list of teams below.. A manager has exclusive rights to players on his roster; if a player is on more than one roster, he belongs to the team where his salary is highest. We are using a serpentine draft, so each manager picks one team first and then we reverse the order. List of teams will be posted below. Please draft using the cut and paste method. Official draft order will follow.
Each team will be allowed ONE Trade only. (Multi player deals will be allowed). However ALL trades must occur after your team has been created. This will allow all of us to follow the various trades. You can agree to a trade while the draft is still going on, but you must draft the player you have rights to and then trade him after the team rosters are created by Strat.

I believe everyone is returning, so Falcon has the honors starting anytime tomorrow.

Gentlemen, I’d like to make a request.
I would really like to have a second opportunity to have an all Chicago team.
I’ve already chosen the White Sox, if you can restrain yourself from picking the Cubs it would be greatly appreciated.
If you absolutely have to take them? oh now, how could I be angry with a fellow Cub fan...

If you want a double Chicago team you may want to switch your first choice to the Cubs (before pdixon picks) as they are chosen with a significantly higher frequency than the White Sox.

Piloneus, i’ll trust your experience, I actually thought it was kind of moot point because they’ve lost so many players that were stars to other teams. But if it’s OK with everyone else I’ll switch it to the Cubs, and if you pick the White Sox?
