Opening day is always exciting and full of promise, but I have to confess that I am particularly psyched this time out since this marks the first time I will have had the chance to draft a keeper-league team from scratch.

It has been many years since I have as well & I understand long term vs short term much better than the last time I did.

Our initial, supplemental free-agent draft is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 10 (at the start of MLB All-Star break).
There will be no clock for Round 1, but a two-hour clock (running from 10 am to 10 pm EDT Monday-Friday) will be in effect during Rounds 2, 3, and 4.
Draft picks in each round will be awarded based on the reverse order of finish in Season #1 (regular season concludes on June 29).
Each team will be allowed no more than four selections in this draft. You can swap picks to improve your position in each round of the supplemental draft, but you cannot exceed the four pick cap.
No drops will be required of any team in this initial supplemental draft since current team rosters fall short of 40-man maximum.
Any player that has a card in the regular 2022 season set used by Strato 365 and who is not currently on the roster of one of the 12 teams in the league may be selected in this draft.

Will the two 100-game winners be able to survive the semifinals so they can break their 6-6 season deadlock in the finals? Stayed tuned.

Congratulations to Jerlins' Pony Express squad for winning the Season 1 title, going 4-1 in both the semifinals and finals.

That being said, should not Jerry be 12th & I 11th in the supp draft?
