Strat-O-Matic Baseball 365

So, I had 4 keeper league teams in action last night. All 4 were teams with winning records at various stages of the season. Two were in 1st place, two were in 3rd in their respective division. All 4 teams were swept. I was 0-12 last night. Now, it's never been this egregious, but has anyone ever felt with SOM that all their teams seem to perform similarly on a given night's games? I have 8 keeper league teams overall and I feel like I've been noticing these "coincidences" more this year than ever. Am I being paranoid and delusional? I feel like if I look at my first team's results any given morning and they are positive, that will carry through with the rest of my teams, and vice versa. Has the conspiratorial nature of the political world entered my SOM universe?

You're not paranoid, if they really are out to get you

On the other hand, the bell curve of probability says that even the outliers of the expected results will occur from time to time. I've noticed similar patterns in my own teams' results. I tend to have 4-6 teams playing at any given time and have had a number of nights which were pretty successful or pretty poor across the board.

Even so, I think it's just the roll of the virtual dice that we're seeing here.

Well, I've had 6 of my 9 teams with this current set make the playoffs, but alas, not a single championship yet with 1 Finals loss (and 1 just set to begin the Finals). So, I'm doing well in general, but not tasting the champagne (or the credits ) yet.
