80s Baseball New League (Starting September 3, 2012)

Our season has started!
I'll try to post once a week about my experiences in my first season ever. And of course I hope other league members also post as well. The EL Paso Cactus beat my team 2 of 3. I watched the replay at 4:30 this morning--and I was so nervous and excited!!! It came down a 9th inning situation where I was down 2-1. I eked out a walk against John Franco. Then I put in my pinch runner VInce Coleman. Franco kept him close and Vince was thrown out trying to steal second. Steve Sax then hit a double, but two batters in a row popped up and that was the ballgame. Yes I lost, but it was damn fun!!!!
