Windows question for Baseball....

I am planning to purchase some of the window baseball seasons. I am strictly a board player but want the window version also. Can anyone tell me if I have top buy the current season to get started and then add add different year seasons after that? Is there a reason why I need to start with the current season if so? I also see for $10 you get a cd too? What is that?

The game and the individual seasons are two different things. You'll be buying the latest version of the game itself, and it automatically includes the 2019 season. But any older seasons that you wish to own will have to be purchased separately.
Assuming you're downloading the game from the website, you won't need the CD.
