I think it would be extremely helpful to add a WAR stat for every player. First, a Strat-Specific baseline WAR FOR HIS DOLLAR VALUE and compared to all other strat cards in his set (i.e., for ATG, his baseline WAR would be compared to all players in the ATG set). Then, what his actual simulated WAR turns out to be as the season progresses. To me, this is a beautiful way to measure whether you did a good job with the players you use for your league, park, division, lineup, etc.
Strat, after all, is a stats game. Having a baseline WAR and then the WAR you managed to achieve for every player on your team would be an exceptionally valuable, informative, educational, and super fun way to see how you did. To learn. To try and figure out what went wrong or what worked out so well.
