Why not play one of the existing mystery card games?
They are limited to a decade, for one reason. The bigger reason, though, is that the cards are fixed to a year. The trade option is the best thing about Fantasim, the idea that a trade can reshuffle the 5 seasons.
I'd love to get into a Fantasim league for the holidays. Heck while the 200 new cards are being added to ATG, can we at least hear about the status of Fantasim plans and a projected time frame.
----oh, and I do think that the managers who put $14.95 into teams that got sequestered months ago do deserved some compensation long ago, but since that did not happen it should be given now.
I suggested to Bernie one time that he combine all the mystery cards into one big set. I don't see the point in having mystery card sets by the decade. If there were one giant mystery card set, I would be more inclined to try it.
Wheter thereshould be a fantasim type option where card years change after a trade s/b up to debate.
Why not just make the card year change an option? Have one mystery game, like you say, and have options when making the league to include any variety of subsets and also whether to lock in the years or allow a shuffle.
It would require building up the card sets for the older players if the whole thing was to be advanced like the decades leagues, but the cards exist, it shouldn't be too hard.
