Fair and balanced scheduling?

I would like to see leagues offered that are set up as two 6 team divisions rather that the current three 4 team divisions. The 6 team divisions would allow all teams to play equal schedules as opposed to the current model which is unbalanced and requires some teams to play significantly tougher schedules than other teams within their divisions.

In a 6 team set up each team can play the other 5 teams in their division 18 times (9 home and 9 road) adding up to 90 games -- and each team can play the teams in the other division 12 times (6 home and 6 road) for another 72 games bringing the grand total to 162 games.

The two division leaders and two teams with the best overall records can make up the 4 team playoffs.

It's nothing major but it has always bothered me that, under the three division format, some teams need to play tougher schedules than others which can make a difference in a close division/wild card race.
