Standard or Advanced

I would like to be able to click on one or the other and find out what each one means as far as league settings.

There is only one difference. Standard gives you 10 points toward your manager rating, and advanced gives you 50 points.

SOM is still working on restoring manager ratings.

Thank you coyote. I was wondering if it affected the players cards as far as the # and $ signs.

I think the only difference is that if you make the post season you get 10 Manager points for Standard and 20 for Advanced. Win the Championship and you get 20 in Standard and 40 in Advanced. I have never read anything about how that would change the cards. Most Vets play advanced so it was recommended that newbies play in the Standard set.
Sorry I didn't post this and left. Just posted it and seen that someone else had. I thought it was 40?

I didn't have it quite right. Here it is straight from the rules:

Skill Level

Standard (default) - Championship is worth 20 points towards the winner's Manager Rating
Advanced - Championship is worth 50 points towards the winner's Manager Rating
