fielding graphics

I'd like a visual depth chart for the field. Perhaps a pop-up from the make lineup page -- some way to see the fielders you are sending out there. I can read the information off the lineup card but it would be much quicker and easier to see the names and ratings arranged in the shape of the field.

Also, during the game replay, which can be a good time, I wish the fielder's names were visible. If I am platooning a bunch of players and someone boots a ball, maybe I can't remember who was playing that position. An alternative to displaying the information on the field where baserunners are named, might be to display a live box score below the replay window.

I agree with this. The fact of the matter is that the graphics in the CD-rom game leave a lot to be desired as well. In fact, I think this is one area which really hurts the company when it comes to attracting new, younger players. I dont' mind the simple graphics myself, and I doubt most old timer board game players do, because we see the game as a mere extension of the board game so the graphics really arent' all that important. But how hard would it be to liven them up a bit?

Steve hit the nail on the head. Kids now a days want to see action. Now stats with action would be a terrific combo. And to tell the truth I's enjoy it too.
