When Strat-O-Matic Online came out in 2001 I used to create a league in the CD-Rom game and setup all of the teams by hand so they match the online league. Before a match-up, I would sit there and watch simulated games to help determine what strategy I should take for upcoming games. This is a fun way to use the CD Rom game but it's also time consuming to setup. It would be great if we could sim upcoming games in the online version. You would be able to sim a game multiple times over the course of the day and you can also tinker with team strategy settings to help determine what strategy will work best in the real league game.
Another idea could be to be able to sim games that have already been played. Going in, you'll know how the lineups are set. You can then tinker with strategy settings to see what may have worked better in that game.
