If you're gonna steal, steal! Why does HAL wait until there is one out to attempt the steal?? Is this to give the next batter ample opportunity to ground into a DP??
Seriously, how many times have you seen this? batter gets on with 0 out. next batter makes out. THEN runner on 1st attempts steal. If I'm going to steal I'm not gonna wait for the batter to "poke one through the GD hole!"

I had hal try a straight steal of home the other day after a triple. if there had been less than 2 outs I would have unplugged him right there, but it wasn't. I guess I did tell him to be very aggressive
