The SOM players are there for it, as well. Everybody who plays SOM is familiar with the 20xx cards, the actual players, or both. It would be the most logical new Mystery League set, as opposed to moving backward to a 50's set where very few managers know most of the players.
Also, it could help draw new, younger players to the leagues; younger players with some new perspectives on baseball and SOM. As a 46-year-old player, I would definitely appreciate the insights and playing strategies of some new, younger players.
