ATG9 Q: With this set can one start a league using players from one season, say 1973? Or a set using just the '72 '73 and '74 sets? And is this not a mystery card set? Thank you in advance!

I don't think you'd have nearly enough players to do that. Even that three-year stretch gives you fewer than 200 guys to choose from, if I'm not mistaken. Maybe if you used '70 through '79?
But yeah, I'm pretty sure Strat will create a custom "subset" of ATG9 if you ask them.
