Where's the "No Squeeze Attempts Ever!" setting?!
Posted: Mon Nov 18, 2024 2:06 pmWe’re behind 7-6 with 1 out in the bottom of the 7th inning, tying run on 3rd, Hall of Famer Pie Traynor at the plate, Hall of Famer Al Simmons on deck. So many possible ways to score the tying run or keep the inning going: hit, sacrifice fly, error, fielder’s choice, balk, wild pitch, passed ball, walk, HBP. My bunting is set at “Extra Conservative”. And HAL calls for a %&#%@$& squeeze play?! By far, the worst possible choice in that situation?! Runner out at the plate, now 2 outs, man on 1st. Great chance to tie the game squandered. No runs. 7-6 loss. AN ABSOLUTELY BONEHEADED CALL!!!
