Hey guys,
Hope all ATG users are enjoying their ATG 8 season starts and using the new cards.
The main topic today are the forum rules. Over the past weeks we've had a few different reports of users not following our forum rules, specifically language and personal comments between users. The last thing we want are for users to not feel comfortable posting here. As a reminder, the following types of communication are not permitted:
- Profane, vulgar, obscene, or indecent language or images.
- Explicit content of a sexual or violent nature.
- Attacks or bigoted statements regarding religious beliefs, political beliefs, sexuality, age, nationality or race.
- Abusive or threatening language.
- Any illegal activity (including unauthorized use of copyrighted material).
- Spam, advertising, commercial solicitations, buying or trading of merchandise, promotion of any products.
- Comments meant to be destructive to the community, any individual within the community, the game company, or its staff.
Go here for the full forum rules.
While recent posts that have broken this have been removed, remember that users who continually post like this can be suspended or banned from using the forum. We strive for this community to be a fun, positive atmosphere for those to talk about our game and hope that users keep this in mind when posting.
Moving on to the game itself, after last week another league came in with requests for a unique draft and we were able to accommodate them. If you remember, last week's league drafts by having a team draft their entire draft before the second team picks. That team then picks their entire team and this continues until all 12 teams have drafted. If anyone is interested in running a league such as this feel free to contact us and we will be able to make that draft happen.
We continue to receive questions about moving started teams from ATG 7 to ATG 8. To do this click on your team, go to your draft list, click "change" next to where it says "Player Set: ATG VII" at the top, choose ATG 8 and and then save your change. In general, your draft list should remain intact with the exception of players who were upgraded or had changed their salary that are on your list. The players who were upgraded will be removed from your draft list completely. Those who had their salary change will show with the new salary except if the change in salary would put your team over your salary cap! In this case, the program will give you an error message and it will not allow you to change to ATG 8. You will either need to remove a player or start fresh with an ATG 8 team. If you've already joined an ATG VII league that has not drafted yet, you may pull your team out to switch your set to ATG 8, but then of course you will not be able to re-join the same ATG VII league.
Other questions we received multiple of this week were about moving Live Draft times after the league fills. Although there is no direct way on the site, commissioners can still do this by e-mailing us. We can easily move the draft time to what works best for your league.
That's all I have for today, talk to you all next week!
