Hey guys,
I have a Wednesday blog this week because Baseball Daily is now available for Baseball 365!
The next time you go to create a team you will see Baseball Daily as an available player set. Rules about the Baseball Daily game can be found here: http://365.strat-o-matic.com/help/rules#baseballdaily..
As usual, leagues need to fill by Friday in order to start play the following Monday.
I gave out these notes last week but some it will be helpful here again.
First, gameplay itself will play out exactly the same as any other player set. The exception is that player cards and ratings will be changing every day. Cards will even change before your season starts or before your league drafts perhaps.
There are three default options that will be different for Baseball Daily. First is the Salary Cap, which I did not mention last week. The default salary cap will be set at $100 million, including Auto-Leagues. This is necessary for the Baseball Daily set as this set will have more transactions than any other and also more likely to keep a larger roster.
A season-long 5% drop fee will also be added and will be the default for Baseball Daily leagues. This is now also an option for all other player sets as well.
The last option that differs is the Injury System as the Super-Advanced Injury System is turned on by default. You can read more about the Super-Advanced Injury System here.
You might see some additional things that are different than other player sets we offer.
The player card is one of them. In addition to the Game log on every player card page, a Daily Card History will also be shown. You will be able to go through a players history of cards when deciding which player to draft and see their season stats for each day of the year as well. Their season stats are cumulative actual season totals, not day-by-day totals.
Another difference between Baseball Daily and other player sets is the playoff schedule. More off-days have been added to the schedule to allow 4-man rotations. The Baseball Daily playoff schedule will include an additional rest day between Games 2 and 3 of every series, Games 4 and 5 of 5-game series, Games 5 and 6 of 7-game series, and an additional day between each series.
Lastly, a Daily Cards section will be added to the Your League menu for Daily Leagues. This will show both Debuts and a Who's Hot section. The Who's Hot section will not populate until players start to reach a minimum MLB at-bat threshold.
Again, Baseball Daily rules can be found here.
An FAQ is also available here for anyone that has any questions. As we receive questions to our e-mail we will update this FAQ.
A new Baseball Daily subforum is also available and can be found here.
I hope everyone enjoys this brand new set to Baseball 365. As always, please e-mail us at 365support@strat-o-matic.com with any questions!
