Hey guys,
Before I get to the poll part I want to quickly go over a few things that were released this week. First, auto-leagues have been added to the game. An Auto-League is a standard 12-team league that uses the default settings for a player set. It is only available for $80 million leagues. This takes away the difficulty in choosing a league, now just click on the "Join an Auto-League" button and your team will automatically be placed in one. This is best for new users of the game or returning users who may not want to go through choosing a user-created league. More information on this can be found here.
Second, a new feature has been added for user-created leagues that allows you to edit the league name and password before the league fills up. This has the added bonus of allowing you to move a league from private to public by simply removing the password from the league. These changes can be made only by the creator of the league and can be done by accessing the league and using the "Edit league name and/or password" link directly under the League Name.
Now, randomized divisions. This was added two weeks ago as an option when creating a league; the default currently still remains that you are assigned to a division in the order you join the league. However with the new Auto-Leagues, randomized divisions are the default. So we have decided to make this a poll on whether it should also become the default for user-created leagues. If it does, we will still have the option to keep divisions by the order the league is joined. This is necessary for many leagues. All this would do is make randomized divisions the default option. You can vote from the poll on this post until Sunday April 21st. At that time whichever option has the most votes will be what we do. So if the majority of people wish to use random divisions as the default it will be implemented that week otherwise we'll leave it alone. To vote/view the poll, click here.
As always if anyone has ideas for the blog or anything else, please let me know at onlinegamesupport@strat-o-matic.com.
