Hey guys,
Following up on the Division Randomization Poll from last week, making random divisions the default option ran away in the poll with 83% of the vote. This has been implemented today. The option to have divisions by the order you join the league still exists so for all leagues that need this just remember to change the option to this while creating the league. Right now we have created a warning when creating the league to remind people but that will is only temporary and will eventually be removed.
Today I want to announce that we are adding community members as forum moderators. However these moderators will not be 'policing' the forum at all. Rather they will be available to help answer questions, assist new users, and generally be a familiar face to help with simple problems. They will also be posting public leagues on the forum that are close to filling to give everyone a chance to jump in on them before the weekend. An announcement will be made Monday detailing who the moderators are. This will not only benefit new gamers, who will know where to ask questions if they do not e-mail to support, but veteran gamers as well who will be able to quickly see what leagues are close to filling and can join and have a draft going that day.
The 2004 season has also been added back to the old teams section this week. The 2005, 2006, and 1969 teams remain followed by the manager ratings themselves. As always, any ideas for the blog topics please e-mail me at onlinegameuspport@strat-o-matic.com.
