Hi guys,
A couple of things I want to touch on today.
First, a user wrote in last week where the log-in page would not work for them and after they did some tinkering discovered a Firefox add-on named clean links 2.2.1. was causing the problem. Once this add-on was disabled the page worked correctly. This is the first time we have heard of add-ons potentially causing a problem. If you are having a problem with a page on our website (after making sure your browser is completely up-to-date) check to see if you have any add-ons to your browser and, if you do, disable them before re-loading the page. If the page now works correctly it is probably because an add-on is blocking something on our website from properly updating. If you can identify which add-on is causing the problem please let us know. Also, if anyone has already discovered that an add-on will not work please let us know which ones! We will be able to keep a complete list of all add-ons that users have written in about that could be potential problems if others are discovered.
Second, the rules page has undergone Part 1 of two updates. The rules page can be found here. We are doing this to ensure that the rules page is correct, up-to-date, and provides users with a clear understanding of how to use Baseball Online. A second update will be coming soon and after updates will be made to individual pages on the game site as necessary.
Many users have asked about the release date of the Superstar Sixties mystery game. Although we do not have an exact date as of yet, it should be released sometime next month.
Lastly, this is your last chance to enter the Players Championship in time for Event 1! Although you can still participate in the tournament later, entering now ensures that you can drop your lowest event score when totaling your overall tournament points. To enter, sign up here! For an update on this year's PC tournament click here. This year's ATG Barnstormer's Tournament is also in full swing and is already through Event 4.
