Hey guys,
Slightly earlier blog today. First for any 20xx players, check out @Stratomatic on Twitter for a 2014 fielding ratings sneak preview. One player from each team was announced yesterday and will be again today. Tomorrow, the top 5 player requests using #StratRatings are being announced as well. Request a player if you're interested and follow along if you can!
Moving to the main topic of today, the second edition of ATG 8 additional players begins today! Again, we will be adding 20 players and again you will be voting among 40 players to determine who will be added. This time however, you get to pick all 40 players who will be on the ballot.
A thread has been set up here to allow you to nominate players to be added to the poll. Each user may only nominate 1 player. The first 40 unique players will be voted on.
This means that if two people select one player but different seasons, only the first season will be the one that is on the poll.
Last time we only took the top 19 plus 1 write-in. Just clarifying ahead of time that we are taking only the top 20 from the poll, no additional write-ins when we run the poll.
The poll using these first 40 nominations will begin next Thursday. The poll will run about a week and then it will take a couple weeks to add the players to the website. The players will be added exactly the same way we did it last time but when we do, I'll make sure that they are also added to the ATG 8 Player Spreadsheet.
