Yes--you have to draft 2 primary catchers--but roster requirements after that are just two catchers.
Strat had draft/roster issues when someone auto drafted something like a primary 1B that could catch too--if you missed him--you would get a 1B as the replacement in auto draft--then you could not drop anyone pre waivers as the roster requirements were not met as you only had one catcher---and in waiver process the only way to proceed was drop 1st pick for a catcher.
requiring drafting 2 primary catchers fixed that auto draft and waiver glitch--but you can drop a primary catcher for any other player that can catch as long as two catchers are on team after drafts have run. Like 2019 Schwarber for instance.
