relief pitcher strategy

If I make a player both closer and setup, and he pitches two innings (as an r3), can he pitch the next game as closer? As closer and setup? Or not at all.

I got a partial answer to my question. Hough pitched 1 1/3 in the first game and 3 innings in the second game. He did not pitch in a save situation in the third game. Moffitt (an r3) pitched 4 innings and got the save despite fatigue.
