One way you could measure your success is by calculating the run value generated by the hitting of your pitchers, with the following formulas:
Offensive Runs= 0.33*W + 0.47*1B + 0.78*2B +1.09*3B + 1.44*HR - 0.1*(AB-H)
Then you deduce the earned runs allowed by the offensive runs generated by the pitchers (or add up if the offensive runs total is negative)
Earned Runs - offense Runs = Earned Runs adjusted value, which you could then transform in a new adjusted ERA
Foster' ERA = 3.18; Foster adjustedERA= 3.29
Wilson's ERA= 4.81 Wilson's adjustedERA= 4.43
