HELP - deleting PM on the boards

PostThu Nov 18, 2021 5:56 pm

How do I delete private messages from my inbox? It is filling up, and so I went in and checked a whole bunch of them, chose delete marked messages at the bottom, hit go, and then confirmed I wanted to delete them but none of them are gone. I am using edge as my browser, do I need to try a different one? do I need to log out and then back in to get it to work? I can only store 7 more messages before it says I am out of space so I need to get this to work.

Works for me using Microsoft Edge. Sounds like you're doing it right.

1) Mark the checkbox of item to delete
2) In the lower right hand corner is a drop down. Select "delete marked"
3)Click Go
4)You will be prompted with "are you sure"

I did not need to log out and return to see if they were gone. They were gone as soon as I deleted them and returned to the message folder.

You don't need to delete messages. When your Inbox gets full with 50 messages, the next message you receive will kick the last message out into cyberspace. My Inbox has said "Folder is 100% full (50 from 50 messages stored)" for years.
