100 win teams

Its been a long time since I had a 100-win team, but I wound up dreading it; maybe it was raised expectations, but I remember typically being disappointed by the playoffs.

Luck as a factor dissipates over the course of 162 games.

The '02 Giambi and Giles cards were truly things of beauty. And Borowski and Boehringer were sublime super relievers in the heyday of super relievers.

My rookie season - went 102-60 w/ Seaver Koosman and a couple of LHB sluggers from the Tigers in Tiger Stadium.
Lost 2-3 in Semis though to the Wild Card.... urh.
But I guess I should be satisfied with a good rookie season!
