Ballpark Homer - "W" Hitter

My stat shows that my "W" hitter from both sides, who has no "#" on his card, had a ballpark homer attempt and failed. So, my question is "Can a "W" hitter hit a ballpark homer off the pitcher's card?

had a ballpark homer and failed.

When a "W" hitter is at the plate and a # is encountered on the pitcher card the split card is selected. If the split card is high resulting in a fly ball out that stands. Thus HR attempt failure. If the split card is low falling within the range for a HR then it gets changed to a single.

Unless you use the 1962 Maury Wills. vs lefties, even though the card says a roll of 2-6 is a walk, Maury can hit a HR on this roll. He's done it twice against me.

That Wills 2-6 roll is just a display error. Once instant replay fully arrives it will be determined the actual result was a foul ball with a subsequent ball 4 for the walk.
