Online:switch hitters bat to pitchers weakness?

Does anyone know how the computer handles switch hitters and pitchers throw/balance rating?

I am playing online, and I had the below situation where Jimmy Rollins batted right handed against the right handed David Carpenter.

David Carpenter throws R, balance 3L
Jimmy Rollins bats S, balance 2R
dice roll: 6-7
result: single(RF)

Carpenters"s card
R: single(RF)
L: single* 1-7/Lineout 8-20

Rollins batted left. He got the split. PBP results don't show splits. Switch hitters always bat opposite the pitcher's throw arm, regardless

It's hard to go by the *, as Strat online uses the "allow more baserunning options" feature. That Single * could easily have been changed to a S rf
