Is there a reason why the system just doesn't automatically adjust to an opposite balanced SP? I haven't use the Reverse feature but it seems I will be just re-listing my other lineup.

No reason to fill out the reverse lineups, if it is the same as the regular one.
If you want to get a different player in verses a reverse pitcher, or alter the lineup order then use it.
Extended injuries may make you want to use the reverse lineups too if the subs vary.

So, if you wanted to use the reverse lineups, what would be the strategy here?
I don't get it??

If you have a RH starting pitcher that is better vs lefties, you may want to start a RH hitter as opposed to a LH hitter.
One starter that comes to mind is Odorizzi

Strat provides the reverse lineups so you can do just that.

Reverse hitters do well against reverse pitchers.
E.g., Facing an LHP with a high R, you'd want an LH with a high L.
