How Did Three Finger Brown Get an Error?

Looking at the box score of this game. The last roll of the game is 4-11 to Derrick Lee, RHB. Brown's card states that's an X roll to RF. Larry Walker was the RF at the time. On the season he is 1/1 in X rolls, so he must have won roll. I would think the batter should be out and the inning over.

Somehow, Three Finger Brown managed to get himself into RF and make a 2 base error to allow the winning run to score? I'm just having a hard time imagining the scenario where Brown would be in a position to make an error in that particular situation.

Any thoughts?
