Pitch Count Question

PostWed Feb 24, 2021 3:56 pm

Is there a way to ensure Hal will ALWAYS takes out a pitcher once he goes to f8 or below?
As it appears , the don't relieve before option is designed to keep Great starters in longer, is there a way to use this setting or another conversely?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use Quick Hook along with Don't Relieve B4. Not perfect, but usually effective.

I haven't noticed HAL leaving in pitchers after they tire. Keep in mind if you get a result that reports say PCF=F4, that gives the pitcher's fatigue rating for the next hitter. HAL will normally relieve at that point (unless it's a long extra inning game).
