Fatigue rating

I specifically instruct HAL to not remove a starter before F1. This pitcher is an 8* and in this situation he is sent to the showers after pitching 1.2 innings. The play by play lists him at F8 at the time of his removal. He has given up 8 runs only 2 of which were earned. Why would HAL remove him before his stated fatigue rating? Does anyone know how HAL assesses these situations? Any enlightenment would really be helpful.

He was removed too soon in his previous three starts as well. Is it possible you didn't set him to F1 until after his fourth game? That's the only thing I can think of.

It would appear that might be the case, but I couldn't tell you for sure. Seems likely since in game 5 he was taken out at F2. Thanks for your help.

I have a paper copy of the StratOmatic Rules. In section 27.55, which is Super Advanced pitching rules, it says " A starter who "doesn't have it" may lose his stuff before his Point of Weakness Inning. If a starter gives up 5 runs in any one inning, 6 runs in any two consecutive innings, or 7 runs in any three consecutive innings, consider him fatigued.

In my experience, In 365 that means he gets pulled for a relief pitcher. In this case the Bonds 3 run HR met all the criteria above so he got pulled.

Thanks Bballexec. I was not aware of that at all. I'll definitely keep that in mind as I examine the play-by-play.
