Who is on the bubble?

After a slow start this year I was surprised to see that I still have a path to the semis. It will probably take between 450 and 460 points or so, and that is a feasible, though unlikely scenario for me. Unfortunately, my 2000s team doesn’t look like a playoff contender so my 90s team would have to win a one or two rounds in the playoffs. But to do that, they’d have to upset Gritch’s 90s juggernaut. If there were a betting line in Vegas it would probably be 100-1.

I was just looking at this today as I currently sit in 14th place but have nowhere to go but down. There are five vulnerable teams in the top 24 and 7-10 teams outside the bubble with a chance to reach the semis. A couple of those are "locks" to get there and the others will need to do well in their respective 90's and 2000's playoffs. Things will get much clearer (and the calculations easier) when the 90's conclude in a couple weeks.

It looks like Match's point total is correct. Last year 459 got you in, this year probably 455 will do it. 60 regular season games left so 90 possible points left. Most teams are still in the hunt because if its like most years, somebody not currently in the top 24 will get hot and get 65 or more and get in. Every year it usually comes down to the last game of the 2000s playoffs. This is the toughest of all the tournaments to get into the postseason. Averaging at least 91 points per season is not easy.
