Adam has been on the clock for 6 hours. The first couple rounds always run slower, but I'm not sure why the delay in this case. I'm guessing he was considering passing because he was undecided and didn't want to delay the draft.
Passing does not change your draft position. If you have the first pick in odd rounds and last pick in even rounds and you pass your first pick, watch picks 2-4, and then jump in to "fill-in" your first pick, then your next pick is still #24 and your pick after that is still #1 in round 3. So, there is no advantage in passing. However, because it is confusing, please don't pass unless it is really necessary to keep the draft moving. In past drafts we have sometimes sent proxies to players picking after you - this can keep the draft moving if you are away for a while.
