2018 Mystery Tourney - Finals Live Draft

Last time I had Eck, he seemed to come into the games a lot in the 8th and finish them off -- more than any other closer I've had to date at least, but I do worry about setting so much $ to closer and spend the season not needing one - wouldn't be the first time.
I was wondering about using Hershiser as relief. He may pitch considerably more innings that way and turning the games over to him might enable me to catch up and get to Eck. Like you said though, really depends all on the version we're playing with and definitely adds a level of fun.

I'm just coming off of playing in the ATG Barnstormers finals, so I'm super focused on value and usage. While you can strike gold with almost any player in a mystery card set, I prefer my odds be 80% than 20% or 40%. There is no pure reliever card in ATG as expensive as Eck, so something is off. The 80s set is so old (2005?) and really in need of a good repricing. We also need to deal with position scarcity in a set like this (there are no really good middle infielders left, but dozens of good pitchers remaining).

Yup. The 80's set needs the most work, but all of the sets could use a little tweaking. Sadly, SOM seemingly has no interest in doing anything with the mystery sets.

The Century Burning 2000's need to be added.
