2018 Mystery Tournament - comments & complaints

I thought the leagues were suppose to be ADV setting. Now Falcon has created a bunch with Std setting. Which is it?

hmm. It is supposed to be advanced setting. On the other hand, I am not aware of any difference between the two settings. Is there any actual difference?

Hasn't been a difference between the two since Strat took over as far as I know.

Anyone ever kept a history of all the past Mystery Tournaments?

I think I've been playing them since 2013 and these three are incredibly consistent, making the Final 12 almost every year - hallerose, Franky35 and sphilipp8. Plus, Jimmy_C seems to always be in the top 15, breaking through to the Final 12 last year.

I'm issuing a challenge to newcomers and those of us who have never made it to the Final 12. Let's make it and knock some of these truly great players into the teens!

No need to get the troops excited. I've played in the past 6 mystery tourneys over the course of almost 10 years. My finishes have been: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th. Unfortunately, I've never been able to win the finals.

That setting does absolutely nothing to the game engine. It's sole purpose is to let others know what calibre or skill level of player you're trying to attract when creating a new league.

The Mystery Tournament is open to everyone, not just "Advanced" players. Heck, they even let me play!
