Please enter now at your earliest convenience, whether or not your assigned league is otherwise filled.

Closers, having you enter now is how I hope to avoid some incidents in the past where the closers got inadvertently shut out of their own assigned leagues.

Message to all (not just closers) - please double and triple check to make sure you are entering the leagues that were assigned to you. I'm bumping the league assignment thread.

If it isn't already apparent, all participants should load their teams now. Leagues may now fill and the tournament essentially begins as soon as possible now. Again, just be very sure that you are entering the correct assigned league!

Message to all (not just closers) - ****important**** as soon as possible after your league fills, please make a copy of the standings page URL at the top of your web page display, and paste that link onto a post in the thread for your particular league on these discussion boards for the tournament.

MOST OF THE TEAMS DON'T EVEN HAVE 9-10 TEAMS ENTERED, WHY DID WE GO EARLY?

I was out to town, planned to re-order my draft today. Instead, I'm already drafted. But hey, I'm #2 on waivers! Says it all.

the key thing is that all of the leagues get loaded in the same week. (Which starts today). But we can't do it synchronized to a particular day. Otherwise someone wouldn't get their team in on that day, and they would miss out until the following week cycle. The best we can hope to do is to go hard at it all week long, and - if we're lucky - we all get in for the same week.

Understand it's a huge coordination effort, just wish I would have known it was going to happen this soon. It's crap.

The league signup says until Jan 19????

^^^ I really don't mean to be annoying, and when you're not having a face to face conversation it's easy to seem like I'm being a jerk or something. It's just that it's not realistic for 135 players to enter their teams on January 19. So I've organized it for the vast majority to load today (I'd like it if all 135 were loaded today). As it is , 4 leagues are completely loaded, and most of the rest have 8 or more teams loaded already. League 12 has 2 loaded but that's because it's the "extra" league for the 3 latecomers so far.

Once all the closers are in, the next phase is to consolidate the remaining leagues (or the ones with fewer teams loaded) to get them all loaded (not quite yet though!).

Then we'll organize the latecomers by January 19.

This is the only way we'll make everyone happy and keep my sanity!

It'll work. It always does. And it's the only way to get it to work , in my world.
