New 5th round - playoffs using 2000's Mystery Set

I've had a few people ask me for a reminder of how the new 5th round of the playoffs using the new 2000's mystery set will work. Here is how it will work:
New to this year'a tournament we will have a 5th cumulative points playoff round for the top 24 teams. The teams participating in this 5th round will be determined once all 90's leagues playoff are complete (approximately May 20th). At that point, the top 24 teams move on and teams 25-168 are no longer participating. Ties in the top 24 are determined in the following way:
1. Championships won; 2. Finals made; 3. Playoffs made; 4. Regular season total wins
These top 24 teams will be split into 2 leagues based on a snake order of the final standings after 4 rounds, so teams 1-4-5-8-9-12-13-16-17-20-21-24 will make up one league and teams 2-3-6-7-10-11-14-15-18-19-22-23 will make up the other. This playoff round is not a true semi-final because all teams are not of equal standing at this point. The points accumulated through the first 4 rounds are still very relevant, because the 24 teams will have their points from this 5th round get added to the cumulative standings - we are just continuing to count points the way we did through the first 4 rounds. So what this playoff round does essentially is it gives the teams that finished 13-24 through 4 rounds a chance to have a strong showing in round 5 and steal away a spot from somone in the top 12. The new 2000's Mystery Set will be used for this 5th round. This is the only use of the new 2000's set in this year's tournament, so anyone who is in the 25th spot or later after 4 rounds will not get to use the new 2000's Mystery Set in this year's tournament.
Once the two 5th round playoff series are complete (somewhere around the end of July), the top 12 teams in the cumulative standings after 5 rounds will then compete in the champions league. This champions league will be a standard 12-team league - the set to be used and other variables (such as use of DH, whether a manual draft is used, etc.) are voted on by the 12 participants in that final round (more on that when we get closer to the date). The winner of the final 12-team champions league is the 2021 Mystery Card Players Champion! This 6th round final won't finish until October, so there will be a shorter offseason before the 2022 tournament starts (because of the extra 2 months to play the new 5th round).
Please let me know if you have any questions.
