Round 5 starts tonight!

We're all set for opening day for the round #5 leagues. For those cheering along from the sidelines, here are the links to the two leagues:

Just a reminder of how this round is working - we are adding all points from this round #5 (for wins and playoff bonuses) to the cumulative total through the first 4 rounds. So it's not a true semi-final in the sense that the teams who did better through the first 4 rounds are starting with an advantage over the others. The top 12 teams after this round move on to the finals (round #6).

To make the finals, Moodymets will need to at least make the semifinals world series. Lots of possible combinations heading into the last series of the regular season.

Yes, lot of possibilities going into the final night of the regular season in Round 5. While there is lots to be determined in terms of ranking, it looks as though the at least 10 of the teams in the top 12 right now will be in our final 12. The only teams outside the top 12 right now that still have hope are mburatti76 who could clinch a playoff spot tonight in League 2, and Moodymets who made the playoffs in League 1 and is sitting down at #16 right now. Remember, there are 5 points given to all playoff teams, 5 more for semi-finalists, and 5 more for league champions. So mburatti76 and Moodymets are still alive to take one of the positions of the teams currently ranked 7-12. Things will be a lot more clear after tonight's games. Also, after tonight's games, I'll start a thread for the top 12 voting (even if all of the top 12 won't be determined until after the Round 5 playoffs).
