Drafting

PostMon Jun 06, 2016 10:10 am

Playing a couple leagues it's obvious to me the draft should be done by position not salary. Payroll is not a factor in this set.
There is already requirements for pitching and catching. Just require a full lineup with a potential backup at each position.

Indeed, I agree. But another issue is that with this new Daily Format the norm should be 80 to 90 million dollar leagues, otherwise teams with bad auto drafts can really get screwed... Not me, my first team will win 100 games, we are at 97 with nine to play. But I would recommend all beginners either live draft or do a 80 to 90 million cap as opposed to the now normal 100 million dollar league, otherwise you stand a good chance of getting burned. Just my three cents, which around here should actually be about four or five cents..

I totally disagree. It takes away the draft strategy of ranking players in your draft list.

Yeah because getting $8.93M Jason Heyward as a replacement for Harper or Stanton makes sense. or Sonny Gray instead of Darvish.
