Player cards change every day, but the prices stay the same. So for example, Joey Votto costs 8.01, but his card isn't very good because he's not hitting homers this year in real life... therefore no one has him in my league. CJ Cron is only 3.32, but he has a really nice card right now, way better than Votto. So you always have to be looking for those bargain players.
If a hitter has a good game in real life, his card gets a little better the next day. Pitcher cards (especially relievers) can change very drastically based on one good or bad game. So (unlike ATG8 etc.) you should be making lots of transactions... constantly picking up hot players and getting rid of cold ones.
