Please note our usage parameters for nominations -
Minimums:
300 PA
100 IP Starters (S or S/R)
50 IP Relievers

AL/NL cards from 1876-2021 are eligible.

1. 1992 Cal Eldred Mil SP-7 3L bk-0 wp-7 2e15 hold +1 NO Ballpark HRs on either side of card. 100 IP 14 starts 11-2 1.79era .99whip ROY-4 14-yr career NO CARD. Brewers need better starting pitchers. Very limited on 5-day starters in set, would be their best by far. Great card!
2. 1966 Sandy Koufax. 27 wins 1.73 ERA. Least amount of HR's on any of his cards. Come on, it's KOUFAX! https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/36594/1660/1/60
3. 1973 Ron Bryant - went 24-12 and finished 3rd in Cy Young Voting as the NL's only 20-game winner. No Giant pitcher won 20 games for another 15 years. His only current card in ATG is his sub-standard 1971 7-10 season. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/731478/1670/1/70
4. 2015 Masahiro Tanaka sp Yankees. 12/7 3.51 era .99 whip https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/500013/2015/1/2015
5. 1962 Norm Siebern Kansas City A's, 162 games, Should be bullet-proof, .308 .412 .495, career best in avge and HR (25) RBI (117) 7th in MVP - much improvement over other two cards to help hapless A's in franchise play. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/41048/1660/1/60
6. 2004 Vladimir Guerrero. MVP. No Angels card exists. .337/.391/.598. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/453/1700/1/120
7. 2010 Brian Wilson SF R2 2L bal. NO CARD -4 hold bk-0 wp-0 e0 . 1.81 ERA/1.18 WHIP. Closer for World Champion Giants. Fear the Beard! https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/90786/2010/1/2010
8. 1998 Ugueth Urbina MON P - All-star season. No Hits on Card. Dale Murray and Tim Burke are largely unaffordable due to a high volume of innings. The 1-inning Urbina should ring in much cheaper. 6+ seasons in Montreal and only has a Florida card. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/3678/1690/1/90
9. 1949 Pee Wee Reese Brooklyn. .279/.396/.410. 743 PA's, stellar defense, exceptional base running. Would be his best card.
10. 1990 Erik Hanson, SEA, Throws-R, Nice 2L Balance, S7* 18-9, 3.24 ERA, 1.15 WHIP. Possessor of a wicked curveball, the Mariners are IN NEED of better SPs. Longest Tenured Mariner without a card. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/2772/1690/1/90
11. 1917 Fred Anderson, NYG, RH SP/RP, Led the league in ERA (1.44), ERA+ (177), WHIP (0.963). Went on to become a dentist.
12. 1968 Frank Howard TEX. We can get him off the waiver wire. This 8L DH demolishes lefties, and still has 8 ball park homeruns vs righties. Won't be expensive because he doesn't do anything else well. Current cards are 1L and 3L. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/35631/1660/1/60 . The link someone added does not equal the 1968 Howard card in the SOM card reader, which is an 8L lefty killer.
13. 1912 Johnny Evers, CHC, Bats-L, BAL-E, 2b-1e34, Steal: *4-6,12/-(18-13). .341/.431/.441, .872 OPS. Best Card by a long way for Hall of Famer.
14. 1925 Jim Bottomley, Cardinals, 1B 2e21, bats L. .367 21 128 .413 .992. Led NL in games played, HITS and DO. Career highs in HITS and DO. Near career highs in games played, BA, RBI, SLG, TB, OBP, OPS & OPS+. This card has higher BA and OBP than Bottomley's 1928 card and would be perfect for smallball, similar to 1921 George Sisler, but with a little more power.
15. 1923 Dolf Luque, Reds, 27-8, 1.93 ERA, 1.14 WHIP. Best season of his career, his current cards aren't the best representation of his 20-year career. Reds could use some SP help.
16. 1930 Pie Traynor, Pirates, .366/.423/.509, 3b-1e31, with career highs in Batting Average, OBP, and SLG, this is his best card.
17. 2003 Craig Wilson PIT Bats-R BAL-6L C-4(0)e1, 1b-4e19, RF/LF-4(-1)e9 INJ Risk-15(2Rating) https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/1239/1700/1/120
18. 2010 Roy Oswalt PHI 1R, *S7 (Hou/Phi combined 13-13) 211 IP/ 162 hits, 193 K's. PHI EXP needs pitching.
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/90430/2010/1/2010
19. 1996 Chuck Knoblauch MIN 2B 1e10 Slashline .341/,448/.517 Stealing-AA Led the league in Triples and his BEST BA-OBA-SLG season.
20. 2021 Brandon Crawford SF. Left hand shortstops are hard to find. 1e12 3r 895 ops https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91386/2021/1/2021
21. 1994 Hal Morris CIN 1B .335/.385/.491 .853 OPS https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/3465/1690/1/90
22. 1971 Mark Belanger, Orioles, SS 1e18, .266 0 35 .365 .320 .685 Career highs in OBP. Near career highs in HITS, R, BA, TB, OPS & OPS+; Gold Glove. Belanger’s best overall card, since the 1969 card is a 2.
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/30727/1971/4/1971
23. 2021 Whit Merrifield KC. 2B 1e10, zero injury. Good combo of speed and defense. No card. .277/.317/.395
https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/93000/2021/1/2021
24. 2021 Carlos Rodon CWS SP L-2R, CWS exp needs SP depth, no card 13-5 2.37 ERA/.96 WHIP https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/92770/2021/1/2021
25. 1923 Arnold Statz Chicago Cubs 154 games in Centerfield. 655 abs 209 hits 33 doubles 8 triples 10 homeruns 56 walks .319/.373/.440/.815
26. 1974 Bart Johnson Chicago White Sox RH RP 5R 3 innings great card vs righty hitters, rival Tekulve 9R, https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/735942/1670/1/70 [note: 1974 Bart Johnson is actually a S7 4R starter with a nice card that would be a good add for the exp-era Sox. Can't always go by the mystery card]
27. 1964 Ron Hansen , White Sox, SS 2 e22, Bats R .261 20 68 .347 .419 .766 Career highs in PA, BA, H, R, 2B, HBP, TB, OPS+. Near career highs in G, HR, RBI, BB, OPS, SLG. 1964 Hansen holds the White Sox single season record for defensive WAR, yet is just a 2 on D. Very underrated. This is a big improvement over Hansen's other ATG card and would give the Post WWII White Sox some power at SS. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/34928/1964/4/1964
28. 1885 Roger Connor, NYG 1B. The greatest 19th-century hitter other than Anson and still a top 5 all-time first baseman. His current card is nice but 1885 is his best season and should be a significant upgrade: .371/.435/.495 for a monstrous 200 OPS+.
29. 1995 Mark Wohlers Atlanta Braves. No card. 2.09 ERA, 1.16 WHIP with a ridiculous K/IP ratio (90 Strikeouts in 64.2 innings) https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/3373/1690/1/90
30. 2000 Mike Sweeney, Royals 1B 4e13, Bats R .333 29 144 .407 .523 .930 Career highs in G, PA, H, R, HR, RBI, BB, HBP, TB. Near career highs in BA, OPS, SLG. Very underrated. 2000 Sweeney, not George Brett, holds the Royals single season record for RBI with 144. Unlike his injury prone 2002 card, this card is in game injury only. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/1119/1700/1/120
31. 2019 Hyn-Jin Ryu, LAD, SP. Throws-L,Bal-2L, non-*, 182.2 innings,163 Ks, 2.32 ERA, 1.01 WHIP. Lead the league in ERA+, finished 2nd in Cy Young voting, gives another strong non-* option for teams using the non-* strategy. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91915/2019/1/2019
32. 1954 Irv Noren. 1.101 OPS against RHP's plus a 1(-2)7 in lf/rf 2cf. All Star year for the Yankees. nice addtion being a platoon player that can also field!
33. 1970 Duke Sims, CLE, C, LH hitter, 1R, 345 AB, 23 HR, .264/.360/.499. Need a C on the ballot, another lefty catcher in the set, and Duke needs a better card. Deadly HR power vs RHP, incl. a 1-7 BPHR. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/741095/1670/1/70
34. 2005 Brian Roberts, Orioles, 2b 1e10, Bats S, 3R .314 18 73 .387 .515 .903 27 SB Career highs in BA, HR, OBP, TB, SLG, OPS, OPS+. Near career highs in H, 2B, 3B & RBI. Would give the Orioles a nice 2nd base and lead off option in franchise leagues, where they usually don't get Alomar. This is a big offensive & defensive improvement over Roberts' other card, which is a 2 on D & never seems to hit well. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/983/1700/1/120

28. 1885 Roger Connor, NYG 1B. The greatest 19th-century hitter other than Anson and still a top 5 all-time first baseman. His current card is nice but 1885 is his best season and should be a significant upgrade: .371/.435/.495 for a monstrous 200 OPS+.

33. 1970 Duke Sims, CLE, C, LH hitter, 1R, 345 AB, 23 HR, .264/.360/.499. Need a C on the ballot, another lefty catcher in the set, and Duke needs a better card. Deadly HR power vs RHP, incl. a 1-7 BPHR. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/741095/1670/1/70

17. 2003 Craig Wilson PIT Bats-R BAL-6L C-4(0)e1, 1b-4e19, RF/LF-4(-1)e9 INJ Risk-15(2Rating) https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/1239/1700/1/120
18. 2010 Roy Oswalt PHI 1R, *S7 (Hou/Phi combined 13-13) 211 IP/ 162 hits, 193 K's. PHI EXP needs pitching.

19. 1996 Chuck Knoblauch MIN 2B 1e10 Slashline .341/,448/.517 Stealing-AA Led the league in Triples and his BEST BA-OBA-SLG season.
20. 2021 Brandon Crawford SF. Left hand shortstops are hard to find. 1e12 3r 895 ops https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91386/2021/1/2021
21. 1994 Hal Morris CIN 1B .335/.385/.491 .853 OPS https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/3465/1690/1/90
22. 1971 Mark Belanger, Orioles, SS 1e18, .266 0 35 .365 .320 .685 Career highs in OBP. Near career highs in HITS, R, BA, TB, OPS & OPS+; Gold Glove. Belanger’s best overall card, since the 1969 card is a 2.

23. 2021 Whit Merrifield KC.
35. 2016 Jean Segura, Diamonbacks, 2b 1e6, Bats R, 3R .319 20 64 .368 .499 .867, 33 SB. Career highs in BA, R, H, 2B, HR, RBI, OBP, TB, SLG, OPS, OPS+. Near career highs in triples and stolen bases. Would help the Diamondbacks in franchise leagues. No card https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/91626/2016/1/2016
36. 2021 Cedric Mullins, BAL, CF 1(0)e7, Bats L, 2R .291/.360/.518. Only 30-30 player in Orioles history! Moves the needle on both sides of the ball. https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/94327/2021/1/2021
37. 1959 Roger Maris , KC, RF - All star season in KC before being sent to Yankees to shoot at short porch, .273, 16, 72 playing for A's. (Could use another 1950s card in ATG so you can do an 1950's only subset.)
38. 1936 Gee Walker, OF, Detroit Tigers, solid hitter for years needs a better card, slashed .353/.387/.536 with 55 doubles 12 homers and 17 Steals
39. 1905 Honus Wagner, PIT, SS -- One of his better years and plus-600 ABs, so limited injury risk -- .363, .427, .505, 32 doubles, 14 triples, 57 stolen bases. Surely SOM would normalize his error ratings like the '08 card. Second highest BA of his career.
40. 1955 Bob Friend Pittsburgh SP 2.83 ERA 1.14WHIP 200IP Best Card of his career
41. 1988 Pascual Perez 2.44/0.94 His best year, a big upgrade over his 2 current ATG cards.

Poll to go up sometime after Andy posts the 'Strat Stats'.
