agree with Toronto50 here-- and its the same reason using 25 cards for an entire team doesn't make sense.

Cards are only good if they are used, and while it might be nice to have an entire team, many of those cards will never get played--
which is why the one person- one nomination system is much more fair.

IF BJ Ryan's card gets used b/c of either a) franchise need for a closer b)lockdown lefty RP etc. then it serves a purpose.

Its also why I suggested 50 nominations for 25 cards b/c it increases he chances that someone nominating a useful fringe type player will get in.

We need the team adds for the newer franchises. The Rays have 3 cards in the set, for example.

I haven't heard from Chris_s or Cristano as of yet on the ATG Card picks so I'll get the polls up by tomorrow to start the voting. I'll work closely with SOM so I can remove any duplicates from as soon as those guys submit them.

sorry for the delay guys. I have been swamped busy at work, but I have 3 of my choices made. One is on your list. I am going to choose the 2006 Hafner, so you can go ahead and remove that one now. The other 2 I have chosen are not on your list, and the last 2 are still theoretical.

I thought 2006 Hafner would not be popular enough - as a DH - to get his card added, so I applaud the Barnstormers champ for including it as one of his choices. If you look at his L/R splits from that year, he could be a popular choice in DH leagues in a ballpark that favors lefties, depending on what salary he gets. But I think the fact he won't have a position will artificially depress his salary, and work in his favor.

As an Indians fan, I loved "the Pronk" and he was an absolute beast in the early 2000s. As soon as I saw that one on the list, I knew I had to choose him even if he wont have much of a position.

Disagree. My nomination will be added, which was the whole point in the first place.

The Barnstormers card adds are additional adds. They are not part of the 25 to be voted on by the community. So I think it's clear you are entitled to switch your nomination. Just trying to help you. But it's up to you.
