I get that he's not a big attractive name but I'm a little surprised on the lack of support that the Offerman card has received. A very playable card (especially compared to the rest of the KC middle infield).


His name has NOTHING to do with it.

His DEFENSE has everything to do with it.

a 3e14 doesn't seem bad enough to keep a guy out considering the significant offensive upgrade he provides the Royals.

**I'm not 100% sure what the D rating would be when splitting 1998 from the 90's set but a .974 fielding % (although not spectacular) shouldn't be considered a liability.

To change the subject back to Ken Hubbs, I get that he was ROY, he can't hit!! He has 30 votes, Charlie Neal who, yes was a Dodger, is a XLNT fielder who hits a bit...not a lot and he has 17 votes. Why is Ken out polling Charlie, because of his truly tragic to young death? Because he was a Cub, because he's more well known? Neither of these two are actual "all time great" players. I just don't get it. Rant over.
