The 1993 Galarraga should be included. This is a great opportunity to get him a Colorado card. Growing up he was Rockies baseball to me. Definitely needs one.

I would much prefer 1993 Galarraga (370/403/602) than Girardi 1993. Girardi played 83 games with a 743 ops. It’s a sentimental add, but would he be played? If you want to add someone with no cards, Charlie Blackmon 2017 (331 (led league) 399 601)

Girardi (15 yrs) has no card in ATG. I'd far prefer Girardi, but there is no reason we can't have both.

One last spot. I'm all for adding Galarraga so he finally has a COL card, but 93 or 96? 96 gives us his career highs in HR (47) and RBI (150), 974 ops, more pure HR and is not injury prone. 93 we get a better OBP card and slightly higher OPS 1005 but 506 PA.

Of note we are also forgoing Fogg's .50 SP card.

I've lagged enough on this submission so please chime in on Andres here soon so I can submit.

tks!

93 would probably be priced better and get used more

I've been away for the past few weeks, so haven't been able to follow this as closely as I would have liked to. Put me down as disappointed in the way that this is playing out. The idea I had always thought was to put in the team from whatever year was determined, not some kind of Chinese menu approach (one from column 2007, one from some all-time Rockies player list). Put in the 25 players from 2007 (I know that there are 33 players possible) -- 15 hitters, 10 pitchers. Holliday is already in, so replace him (Gonzalez?). After that, the Rockies fans can try to nominate the players they want the way the rest of us do -- through the various processes that Rosie has put into place.

I get your perspective. The only observation of 'justification' I can offer is that the Rockies as a franchise in SOM are not represented well at all, yes I'm playing master of the obvious for a moment. So this team add has created another valid (in my mind) priority in making the franchise viable as a stand alone club. I think the community has done a decent job of straddling both goals.
