I agree. I guess he'd bat 9th though, so with 0 or 1 out he bunts? If he makes the third out(s) , at least you start the next inning with your lead off hitter.

I'm looking at the card app. Hubbs 1962 has 30 gba (6 are gba+) versus lefties 29gba versus righties (6 are gba+).

To change the subject back to Ken Hubbs, I get that he was ROY, he can't hit!! He has 30 votes, Charlie Neal who, yes was a Dodger, is a XLNT fielder who hits a bit...not a lot and he has 17 votes. Why is Ken out polling Charlie, because of his truly tragic to young death? Because he was a Cub, because he's more well known? Neither of these two are actual "all time great" players. I just don't get it. Rant over.

Yes. If Neal was an "A" bunter, maybe "B" it makes him more attractive.

In Minute Maid, given the choice between Offerman at a 3e21 and 1986 White's 1e11 card, depending on the need (leadoff vs. bottom of the order) and of course salary (which we don't know for Offerman) I'm not sure you would. Just sayin' ;)

Very few expansion era or later cards will make the cut. In totally unrelated developments, very few Strat O-Matic players are under 40. I am not sure what the problem is, havent all young people heard of Ross Barnes and Hugh Duffy?

Doesn't really fit the analysis that very few expansion cards will make the cut.
