I'm curious as to why you chose minute maid for this example. A heavily RH skewed park where Offerman (as a switch hitter) would do most of his batting as a lefty.

yes, Frank White has good defence and although not a big power threat does hit more vs righties.

I would expect Offermans superior OBP and stealing ability to produce a higher base differential than the Frank White card over a full season in a pitching, neutral or lefty skewed card. (maybe not but you never know with how the dice are going to go)

I chose Minute Maid because he's a switch hitter, and that's a park that gets used often, he is not suited for any park except as a DH. Offerman is a decent hitter and he has a pretty good OBP, but in a pitchers park (like Forbes'41) or a singles park (like Royals '80) you want a 2Bman who can field, so he will play DH in any league above 60m. I like him, he came up as a Dodger (my team), but he is by no means a good 2B choice, how often do you see Steve Sax start at 2B on a playoff caliber team?

I don't know what his card looks like, but what about 2006 Mark Grudzielanek? Won a gold glove with decent hitting (no power though

Jose Offerman, because if you rearrange the letters in his name it spells, "Major Offense"

HAL doesn't care for awards. I looked up all his cards in the app, and he has never been a "1". In 2006 he was a 2b205 ss448

1971 Cookie another KC option. After Adair in 1969, White and Rojas were the Royals' starting 2B for the next 21 years
