Great all nominees are in, we have 175...crap, due to limitations in the polling capacity we can only vote on 40 at a time (just discovered this)...so here's what I'm going to do...
1) scale our list down to 120 (In most cases I will use the franchise and ERA rankings, in some cases I will leave franchises with more guys do to their ATG numbers)
2) Place them alphabetically in 3 polls
3) Top 30 vote getters across all 3 polls will be IN
4) Next 40 will have a 2nd round of voting to pick the 20 more to make our 50

A small hassle, yes but solvable.

I will also post the final nominee list in google docs for all to look through during their review if desired.

This is great news! The nomination process was fun, and now we're getting closer to some cards!

From the "broken record" department...I sure hope we can manage to get at least a couple of Rays cards included in this 50 card add...we only have ONE card for crying out loud...

I think a good way to approach this going forward would be to allocate 20% of the cards added to each of the 4 eras and the remaining 20% to the franchises woefully underrepresented...

Deadball...Pre-war...Post- war...Expansion...Lean Franchises...

Everybody gets something that way...

add 4 cards per day one from each era (120 per month) and never look back

Ok so after further review I can't possibly get this list down to 120 without some deep cuts, so I trimmed it by 16 to get us to 160. I'll post the ones I cut and why here soon. Which means we have 4 polls to choose 30 and one runoff poll to get our last 20. whew...ok stay tuned its close, just building the polls now.
