I'd encourage the ambassadors to point out the holes of each franchise to help focus the debates.

Peavy seems like a must have, no card yet and helps the Padres.

Nevin and Finley are both high on my list as well, along with Gary Sheffield's one year with the team.

The Padres are a franchise that I believe we could accommodate with several players. I know some franchises are hardly represented but the Padres we can help now.

Ok, per Rosie's request, my idea of needs for Franchises.

Need SP depth: Jones and Roberts then not much
Better 1b option--that 92 McGriff would be nice
Better 2b option--Loretta hits but is a 3, Flannery doesn't currently have a usable card
Weak at LF--if eligible in Lf as well as CF, maybe that 70 Cito Gaston?
Need better CF option-- Steve Finley?
